Paid Grief Spells subscribers get access to live Grief Studios each month. Grief Studios are containers to dialogue with, make, and witness your own art and writing alongside other grievers.

  • Monday, May 19th, 6-8pm eastern time (especially holding space for grief around Mothers and Mothers' day)

  • Monday, June 16th, 6-8pm eastern time (especially holding space for grief around fathers and Father's day)

  • Monday, July 14th, 6-8pm eastern time

  • Thursday, August 21st, 6-8pm eastern time

Sessions (not including break out rooms!) will be recorded for those unable to make them live ✨

Grief Studio Structure

The structure for Grief Studios is adapted from the lineage of the Jewish Studio Process and Open Studio Process and combines the following elements:

  • Guided reflection through writing prompts and small group discussion around particular themes related to grief.

  • Space to ground and set an intention for your creative and grief tending practice.

  • Undirected, parallel creative practice using whatever materials you feel called to, with the understanding that our art-making gets to be a practice of attunement to ourselves and the world around us.

  • Space to witness and dialogue with our creative work, and to be witnessed by ourselves and one another (without critique, comment, or discussion of one another’s work).

Cost
